This study attempted to analyze the relative influence of young urban professionals, husbands and wives in Bangkok in purchase decisions of selected packaged products. Three hundred-eighty five young urban professionals from Bangkok area were involved as respondents. The couples (husbands and wives) were chosen from 4 Jaycee organizations. Descriptive-analytical method was utilized. Analysis of information gathered were taken from questionnaires, interviews and observations. Each couple respondent had a different preference decision when purchasing a certain item, product or services. There was a purchase-influence role each couple made within the family.
