The focus of the study was on the relationship between non-verbal intelligence, thinking skills and some personal and demographic variables of the 4th year high school students of class 2008 at Rogationist College in Silang, Cavite. Descriptive design was employed. A total of 234 graduating students served as respondents. Data were taken from students' cumulative guidance folder, their 1st quarter grades, checklist from NCAE and intelligence tests. Interviews with homeroom advisers were also conducted. Gathered data were analyzed by employing the techniques on frequency count, percentage, Pearson-r, T-test and chi-square. Findings revealed the ff.: the socio-economic status of most respondents were on the upper-middle class; a high significant relationship existed in academic achievement and non-verbal intelligence; between academic achievement and thinking skills; there was a low positive relationship between non-verbal intelligence and thinking skills. Recommendation was to implement the proposed guidance program through active collaboration with the guidance counselors, teachers, administration and parents. (1 fig./34 tables)*ebc
