Summary: This study assessed the style of governance and management in Philippine Christian University and De la Salle Araneta University. Descriptive method was utilized. Stratified random technique was adopted in choosing the 902 respondents composed of faculty, personnel and students from the 2 universities. Data taken from questionnaires were analyzed by employing the techniques on weighted mean, ANOVA, and Pearson-r. Findings showed that the degree of relationship on governance and management was very significant. Research, Social Orientation and Community Involvement got the lowest average mean in both schools. There was an indication of weak and ineffective links among the different departments. The ff. recommendations were presented: faculty members should be encouraged to pursue graduate and post graduate courses; provide incentives to teachers; both schools should improve their programs on community involvement and social orientation; enhance facilities and resources; and, intensify research outputs.
