Employing the descriptive design, this research investigated the relationships between perceived leadership styles of the academic officers and faculty behavior in Philippine Christian University. The respondents comprised of 8 college deans, 2 directors from the integrated schools and 190 faculty members. Data were taken from Personal Data Sheet, Leadership Style Questionnaires and Faculty Behavior Questionnaire. The formula on frequency, percentage, Z-test, weighted mean, ANOVA, t-test and chi-square were applied as statistical measures. Different theories of behavior and managerial leadership were discussed in details. Findings have revealed that perceptions of leadership styles by the faculty members did not influence their behavior patterns in terms of satisfaction, commitment, and participation and involvement while the professional and personal qualifications of the faculty members influenced their degree of the mentioned variables. Recommendation to focus all efforts and resources towards making the school effective in fulfilling its goals and objectives. A call for effective leaders who could transform and think strategically for the benefit of the faculty members they worked with, instrumental in providing an academically-oriented climate conducive to better performance and desirable behavior, right fellowship as well as values and a distinct organizational culture.
